The CFTC sued Arizona, Connecticut, and Illinois on 02 April 2026 over state attempts to regulate prediction-market contracts. Andreessen Horowitz filed a separate comment with the CFTC on 30 April 2026 demanding a rewrite of Rule 40.11.
